According to Sunderland Echo, Florent Ghisolfi believes Sunderland have addressed a height and physicality shortfall with six summer signings after a challenging window.

The Black Cats felt Premier League rivals held a clear edge in that department last season, yet a seventh-placed finish meant they were scarcely punished. Ghisolfi said bridging that gap became a clear objective.
