Former Celt Mike Galloway passes away | OneFootball

Everyone at Celtic Park was saddened to hear of the death of former Celt, Mike Galloway who has passed away at the age of 60.

Mike joined the club from Hearts in 1989 and the defensive midfielder with a penchant for long-range goals played in a number of positions during his time at the club.

Ironically, his first and last games for Celtic were against his former club at Tynecastle in August 1989 and October 1994.

Those games bookended 174 games in which he scored 10 goals for the club he had always supported.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Celtic Park are with the family and friends of Mike at this sad time.
