Former Albion forward Karlan Grant has joined Championship rivals Charlton on a two-year deal after rejecting an offer to stay at West Brom.
The player said in a post that he was grateful for his six years at West Brom, thanked supporters through the highs and lows, and wished the club success for the future.
Grant, 28, moved to Albion from Huddersfield in 2020 for £15 million on a six-year contract, scoring 35 goals in 173 appearances.
He returns to the club where he began his career, having made nearly 100 appearances for Charlton after breaking through as a teenager.
His departure had seemed likely this summer, and Albion have already strengthened their forward line with the arrivals of Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.
