Four Dragons called up for the Under-15 World Cup

Defenders José Santos (pictured), Santiago Ferro and Simão Marques, as well as midfielder Rúben Queiroz, are part of national coach Tiago Matos’s squad for the Under-15 World Cup, which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, between 22 and 31 October.

The first edition of the exhibition competition organised by FIFA will be exclusively for boys in 2026 and for girls in 2027. From 2028 onwards, the two tournaments will be held simultaneously.
