The ongoing World Cup has witnessed several standout performers. There have been a few of those linked with top Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester United.

Ayyoub Bouaddi – Morocco

The 18-year-old switched his allegiance from France to Morocco prior to the World Cup and has been a revelation for the African giants. He caught the eye with his terrific ball control in the opener against Brazil, where he got the better of Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes.

His club Lille have no plans to sanction his sale on the cheap. They are poised to demand at least £69 million, as per journalist Fabrice Hawkins. Arsenal, Man Utd and Manchester City have been credited with an interest, but Les Dogues’ other demand could be a sticking point. The French outfit would like to retain Bouaddi’s services on a season-long loan deal next term.

Manu Kone – France

The Frenchman had a superb campaign with Roma in Serie A last year. The 25-year-old was almost ever-present in the left central midfield role as the Giallorossi qualified for the Champions League after a seven-year wait. He is now likely to move on to pursue a bigger challenge.

Roma are also open to selling him for £39m to balance their books. Atletico Madrid have expressed an interest in the former Borussia Monchengladbach man, but he has his sights on joining Arsenal in the Premier League. Kone, who had a passing accuracy of 91 percent in Serie A last term, believes it would be a ‘huge personal challenge‘ to move to England at the current stage of his career.

Folarin Balogun – USA

Balogun has made a huge impression for the United States of America this summer. He netted a brace in his World Cup debut against Paraguay and has been touted to return to English football. The 24-year-old, who was previously in Arsenal’s academy, scored 19 goals for Monaco last campaign.

The striker graduated through the youth system at Hale End, but made just 10 competitive appearances for the Gunners before his big-money move to Monaco. His homegrown status makes him an attractive option in the Premier League, and he could be prised away for around £43m.

Zion Suzuki – Japan

The Japanese goalkeeper has built his reputation after a fabulous World Cup showing. Suzuki made an average of three saves at the global tournament, and he was brilliant in the round of 32 clash against Brazil, where he was left heartbroken after Gabriel Martinelli’s injury-time winner.

The 23-year-old has likewise impressed for Parma in the Italian top-flight. He has been their undisputed goalkeeper when fit and could be permitted to leave for around £26m. Calciomercato report that Aston Villa and Leeds United could compete for the signature of the highly rated shot-stopper.
