Cristiano Ronaldo remains focused on Al Nassr and a last tilt at the 2026 World Cup, but talk of a Hollywood chapter persists. Frank Leboeuf says any success would hinge on serious training.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will be a great actor if he does one thing right … If he wants to do it, I have advice for him: do acting courses. Don’t think you’re an actor just like that. He has to respect the world of this industry.” He was speaking to Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
Leboeuf argued that formal coaching is essential, warning that star power alone is not enough. “I saw Adil Rami was doing a play for the past four months, but not following courses,” he said. “He’s going to be lacking voice and presentation.”
Speculation around Ronaldo’s screen debut has been fuelled by Vin Diesel, who teased that the forward could join the Fast mythology in a final instalment titled Fast Forever, claiming a role had already been written. Ronaldo has previously said he is open to performing.
Beyond on-screen roles, Ronaldo launched independent studio UR•MARV with director Matthew Vaughn in April 2025, aiming to blend sport and storytelling using new technology to produce high-end action content. The partnership has reportedly already financed two action films, with Ronaldo describing it as an exciting next chapter as he looks to business ventures.
