Fulham send playful message after Harry Wilson seals Leeds move | OneFootball

Fulham marked Harry Wilson’s free transfer to Leeds with a playful sign-off, wishing him luck in all but two games a season. The club said in a statement that the winger leaves with warm regards as he heads to Elland Road.

Wilson’s move was confirmed on Wednesday, 10 months after a deadline-day bid fell short. The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal and will link up with Daniel Farke’s squad and his Welsh compatriots for pre-season.

Across five years in SW6 he made 187 appearances, scoring 36 and assisting 46, totalling 82 goal involvements. Many were spectacular efforts rather than tap-ins. He also collected Fulham’s Player of the Season after a career-best return of 11 goals and 8 assists in 38 Premier League and FA Cup matches, averaging one involvement every other game.

He departed at the end of his contract after running it down. The announcement followed a pre-arranged training camp in Portugal.

He is set to face former team-mates when Fulham visit Elland Road on December 19.
