According to Atenção, Vascaínos!, Vasco have finalised a deal with Danish club Copenhagen to sign 26-year-old centre-back Gabriel Pereira on a season-long loan that includes an obligation to buy if pre-set targets are met.

The move required significant personal sacrifice from the defender. To secure an immediate release, he waived financial sums and accepted a clause that, if Vasco do not buy him and he returns to Denmark after the loan, his salary will be cut by 50%.
