The Generalitat Valenciana made an institutional visit to the Nou Mestalla on Monday, headed by First Vice-President and regional minister Susana Camarero. The delegation toured Valencia’s future stadium ahead of a planned 2027 inauguration.

According to Superdeporte, the trip formed part of the Programa de Actuación Integral Preventiva en Obras Singulares (AIPOS), a technical assistance scheme run by the Instituto Valenciano de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (INVASSAT) to promote safety and health standards beyond legal requirements on flagship projects.

Valencia CF, represented by general director Javier Solís and director of operations and infrastructure Christian Schneider, outlined the project to the regional officials alongside FCC Construcción, the company tasked with completing the build.

The presentation was followed by a joint site tour that also involved senior figures from the administration, including Antonio Galvañ, Secretary for Employment, and María Lurueña, Director General of Labour and of INVASSAT.

Camarero underlined the need for tight coordination between the club, FCC Construcción and the Generalitat to ensure maximum safety and health on a landmark site, noting that the works are already well advanced. She said INVASSAT and the contractor are working closely to protect staff and deliver a stadium worthy of the city.

She highlighted visible progress on the roof and said questions had focused on the risks linked to that phase. The project, she added, enters its final year of construction this summer and the regional government is coordinating efforts to meet the scheduled date without incidents, stressing that supporters, Valencia and the Comunitat Valenciana deserve such a venue.
