Geovany Quenda completes Chelsea move, signs until 2034 after Sporting Portugal season | OneFootball

Geovany Quenda has completed his move to Chelsea after a further season of development.

The club said on X that the 19-year-old winger has joined from Sporting Portugal and signed a contract until 2034.

Chelsea agreed the transfer in March 2025, then left him for one more campaign. He arrived in London on Wednesday, with the Blues posting photos of him in his new shirt later in the afternoon.

Quenda cost more than 52 million euros around 18 months ago and is considered among the most promising in his position.

For Sporting Portugal last season he played 32 matches, scored 6 goals, including 2 in the Champions League, and provided 9 assists. He missed several months after fracturing a metatarsal in December.
