Crystal Palace endured a difficult weekend after losing 4-1 on the road, and the Eagles will be determined to bounce back.

Palace have the perfect chance to turn the tide when they travel to take on Arsenal in the League Cup.

Eagles boss Oliver Glasner will be expecting a response from his side, even though the odds may be stacked against them.

Palace will be without key players, including Ismaila Sarr, away on international duty, and the injured Daniel Munoz.

Jean-Philippe Mateta is also playing through a knock that is clearly affecting him and may need to be rested for the Arsenal clash.

Glasner must start Christantus Uche for Palace vs Arsenal after his brief cameo versus Leeds United on Saturday.

Uche, fresh from a wonder goal in mid-week, received only 13 minutes but grabbed the chance with both hands, drawing the penalty that led to Palace’s late consolation goal.

After a slow start to life in South London, Uche has found his groove and could prove pivotal to Palace’s chances of progressing into the semi-final of the League Cup.

The 22-year-old showed hunger, and that will appeal to Glasner, who wanted to see more desire from his troops.

It remains to be seen if there’ll be space in the starting XI for Eddie Nketiah against his former club after a poor performance.

The former Arsenal man won only 2/10 duels this weekend and has looked poor in recent games.

He has not scored in three matches for Palace, and Glasner will think twice about starting him.

There might be a chance for Palace academy graduate Justin Devenny to strut his stuff.

Devenny converted the penalty Uche won, bagging consecutive goals for the South London club.

He also struck the post even though he really should have scored to make it 3-2. He will likely get minutes against Arsenal, but it might be from the bench once more.
