A former Chelsea captain has predicted that it’s going to be a tough loan move for one current Blues player this season.

There’s been plenty going on this week in the wonderful world of Chelsea despite it being another very bland international break (there’s another coming next month by the way).

The biggest story of today so far really is what has been happening around centre back Axel Disasi, who still believes he can impress Enzo Maresca and get back into his plans for the first team after seeing a move to Monaco fail due to Chelsea running out of international loan spots to use this summer.

I don’t think Disasi stands much chance of getting back into Maresca’s squad this season and I think he will just be kept in the bomb squad until January and then sold or loaned out then when the winter window opens up.

But before all of that happens, let’s hear from former Chelsea captain Frank Leboeuf, who’s actually been pretty quiet of late!

You will all be aware of what has been happening with Nicolas Jackson recently, with his loan move to Bayern Munich being confirmed. Although, it was claimed by a Bayern Munich board member earlier this week that Jackson has to start 40 games this season at Bayern for the obligation for them to buy him kicks in! Impossible? Yes, pretty much.

‘He knows that 40 games is going to be hard to be made,’ football pundit Frank Leboeuf said about Nicolas Jackson’s situation on ESPN FC.

‘At the end of the day, you still have some hopes that at some point you will have a chance – and if you are good – you know that maybe the coin will flip and it’s going to be better.

‘But now you already know that if you reach 39 games you’re not going to play any more.’
