Leeds United dug in for a 0-0 at Selhurst Park. They played the entire second half with 10 after Gabriel Gudmundsson was sent off.
After a scrappy opening 40 minutes, the game burst into life as Dominic Calvert-Lewin dragged a penalty wide before Gudmundsson collected a highly contentious second yellow. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, referee Thomas Bramall was seemingly unaware he had already booked the Swede.
Daniel Farke made two half-time changes and set his side to protect the point. Jefferson Lerma had a finish ruled out for offside and Palace failed to register a shot on target.
Karl Darlow rated eight for sharp reflexes, strong punches and tidy kicking. James Justin eight, little joy going forward before the break, then dug in and defended well.
Joe Rodon eight after an enterprising first half on the right that included a wicked cross, then defended stoutly. Jaka Bijol seven following a shaky first period and a booking, improved after the interval.
Pascal Struijk eight, commanding in his box and a threat in theirs, used the ball neatly. Gabriel Gudmundsson six, delivered a couple of decent crosses yet lacked fluency, unfortunate to be dismissed for a questionable second caution.
