Gravenberch Gets 8.5, Ekitike With 8 | Liverpool Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Everton

Liverpool welcomed Everton at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a win in the Merseyside derby. The Reds made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the tenth minute thanks to Ryan Gravenberch’s excellent finish. Hugo Ekitike doubled Liverpool’s advantage with a clinical finish in the 29th minute as Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Idrissa Gueye got a goal back for the Toffees with a great strike in the 58th minute. However, Liverpool hung on to their slender advantage and secured a hard-fought 2-1 win at Anfield.

The Brazilian keeper made one solid save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.
RB: Conor Bradley – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7.5/10
Konate put his foot through the ball when he could but won’t be pleased about conceding a goal in the second half.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10
He earned possession back twice and dealt with the danger when needed.

LB: Milos Kerkez – 7/10
He was solid when defending inside his half and was good on the ball as well.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 6/10
Mac Allister struggled to get into the flow of the game and was substituted at the hour mark.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 8.5/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 7/10
Salah caused some headaches for his marker and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 6.5/10
He worked his socks off in the opponent’s half but lacked quality in front of goal.
LW: Cody Gakpo – 6.5/10
Gakpo engineered two key chances for his teammates, but there was no goal for him today.
ST: Hugo Ekitike – 8/10
Ekitike made some dangerous runs with the ball and managed to find the back of the net with a good finish in the 29th minute.
