Grêmio ‘to consider offering’ €7m for Raphael Viega | OneFootball

Grêmio are exploring a move for Raphael Veiga as they look to strengthen Luis Castro's squad. The club are also working on a deal for goalkeeper Weverton and negotiating for Argentine midfielder Guido Rodríguez.

Rádio Gaúcha reports that Grêmio remain interested in Veiga and have been informed of the price required for a potential transfer.

Palmeiras' initial demand is around €15 million, R$ 97 million. Grêmio have indicated they could offer about €7 million, R$ 43.8 million.

Veiga is contracted to Palmeiras until early 2027 and is no longer guaranteed a starting place under Abel Ferreira. A departure is not considered difficult if bidders come close to the requested figures.

Officially, Grêmio have not confirmed interest in Veiga or other players for this position. The club's idea is to bring in a player who can be one of the side's technical reference points.
