President Herbert Hainer made it clear that the club does not assess the work of a sporting director solely on the basis of individual transfers. „We always assess the work of a board as a whole,“ explained the 71-year-old

Of particular interest: Hainer named several specific areas that are to be analyzed internally: „In the case of the sports director, for example, this means the composition of the squad, the development of talents on campus, the cooperation with the coach, the staff, the physios and the doctors, etc.,“ said Hainer

Even though Hainer emphasized that there is „not just one criterion“, the Bayern president left no doubt as to the importance of the upcoming transfer summer. „The transfer window is an important phase for every club – this includes additions and, of course, departures,“ explained Hainer
