Harry Wilson has joined Leeds United on a free transfer after leaving Fulham, signing a four-year contract that would take him to 33.

The club said in a statement that he is their first signing of the summer window, that he chose Leeds over other offers, and that he brings versatility across the forward line.

The 29-year-old Wales international moved after his Fulham deal expired on 30 June.

Leeds had led the chase for the winger last summer until Fulham pulled the plug late in the window. Their persistence has helped secure his arrival.

Wilson was Fulham's player of the year last season with 11 goals and eight assists, and he claimed the BBC's Goal of the Season award.

He will hope to carry that form into Elland Road, with familiar faces from the international set-up on hand to help him settle.
