Harry Wilson has reflected on his collapsed deadline-day move to Leeds United and considered his Fulham future after a fine start to the season.

Leeds and Fulham held talks into the final hours, a deal sheet went to the Premier League, then the Cottagers withdrew while Wilson was on Wales duty.

"It was the first time it had happened to me. I'm used to watching it on Sky Sports, so to be part of it was different. My phone was going off every two minutes." He told Sky Sports.

He stayed at Craven Cottage and has five goals and three assists in 13 Premier League games. His contract expires at the end of this season and from January he can speak with foreign clubs.

Leeds remain interested in a creative right winger or No.10 either in January or next year, and given his form and contract status it is feasible he stays on their radar. There has been no palpable progress on an extension with Marco Silva’s side.

"I'm fully focused on playing. I play football because I love the game and wherever I am, it's got to be somewhere where I'm going to play."

"But this next contract has got to be right for me and my family. So yeah, we'll see what happens."
