Harry Wilson is weighing up his next move as his Fulham contract runs down after a career-best season put him in demand. Aston Villa, Everton and Wrexham are linked as the 29-year-old considers his options. He hit 10 goals and seven assists last term, although his form dipped.
Fulham have offered fresh terms to extend his stay. He could chase a final lucrative deal, yet roots in London mean walking away would not be straightforward.
Owner Tony Khan said the decision could hinge on who replaces Marco Silva, who has left to join Benfica. He noted long-running contact and that Wilson is keen to see the appointment, adding that if Silva had stayed he might already have re-signed, with mutual interest in him remaining.
Villa will play in the Champions League next season after finishing fourth and winning the Europa League. Competition under Unai Emery means Wilson might not be guaranteed starts, although Morgan Rogers' expected exit could open a No. 10 role.
Everton present a different proposition. His Liverpool past might feel awkward, but his ties are not deep and David Moyes could offer more minutes.
A return to Wrexham would tug at the heart. He was born there and ambition has grown under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Dropping a division while top-flight teams pursue him would be a gamble.
Following Silva to Portugal is not off the table either. With three or four years left at the top, a decision in the coming weeks may define Wilson's path.
