Henderson excited by Chelsea ownership after signing two-year deal with the club | OneFootball

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of midfielder Jordan Henderson following his departure from Brentford.

The 36-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Blues.

“Given the size of the club, the manager, who I have great admiration for, and the quality of the players, this was a huge opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” Henderson said.

“I was also so impressed with how much the ownership want Chelsea to be successful and move in the right direction.

The England international is currently recovering from arm surgery after suffering the injury in the celebrations after his country’s win over Mexico.
