Hertha BSC ‘in negotiations’ for Brekalo, Juventus in pole position | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that Hertha BSC are in negotiations to sign Josip Brekalo from Real Oviedo. The 27-year-old Croatian could return to Germany, with Juventus currently in pole position.

Brekalo previously made 157 appearances in German football for VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg.

He joined Oviedo from Fiorentina on a free transfer this summer and agreed a contract running to 2027.

The newly promoted La Liga side have yet to see him record a goal or an assist in 14 league games.

Hertha face competition, with other Italian clubs also showing interest.
