Igor Tudor praised Tottenham forward Richarlison’s selflessness ahead of a crucial clash with relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Spurs sit just a point ahead of Forest, who are 16th and 17th respectively, going into the game.

Richarlison played a crucial role to help Tottenham secure a point against Liverpool at Anfield in their last league game, and Tudor believes his attitude can be key to helping Tottenham avoid a shock relegation.

“He’s a good guy and he cares,” Tudor said.

“I didn’t know him from the outside. With his tattoos and everything, it can be like (the wrong impression).

“But he’s a really amazing guy, Very calm, very caring of the squad, willing to help his team-mates, very generous with the way he plays.

“Happy to have him.”
