Mikel Arteta's side will take on holders Paris Saint-Germain on May 30 when they attempt to become the first Arsenal squad ever to win the competition.

The club's allocation of 16,824 tickets for the Puskas Arena has now been sold out after a scramble among season-ticket holders.

Large numbers of fans are expected to travel to Budapest without a ticket to soak up the atmosphere as Arsenal play in the Champions League final for just the second time in the club's history and first since 2006, when they lost 2-1 to Barcelona in Paris.

With demand for the final so high, Arsenal will be hosting a live screening of the full match at the Emirates Stadium, which will also feature live music with DJ AG and the club’s usual food and drink offering.

The club did similar last season for the Women's Champions League final, which Arsenal won against Barcelona in Lisbon, though that was only shown in the club level of the stadium.

It is understood that this time big screens will be used on the pitch with supporters primarily sat in the lower tier of the stadium. That will allow around 35,000 supporters to be in attendance.

Tickets went on sale at 1pm BST on Monday, with those first available to the season-ticket holders who did not get the chance to buy a match ticket.

Depending on availability, silver members and then red members will get the chance to purchase tickets for the Emirates after that, at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

It is £15 for an adult ticket in the lower tier and £20 for those sitting in club level, with concessions priced at £7.50 and £10 respectively.
