Leeds United have accelerated their summer plans, with two free agents and two big-money additions mooted. After securing Premier League safety, priorities include a goalkeeper, left-back cover, a midfielder and a no.10.

According to Leedsunited.news, talks have opened with Julian Brandt and confidence remains over reviving a 2025 move for Harry Wilson. Karl Darlow is yet to extend, Zion Suzuki has been linked and Parma will demand a substantial fee for Japan’s World Cup no.1, and Shea Charles wants a Leeds switch with a price set north of £20m.

If Suzuki signs, he would go straight in goal, having been one of Serie A’s best shot-stoppers in 2025-26, though competition is strong. Centre-back should stay as Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk, with Leeds needing to offer Struijk a new deal to deter Tottenham and other top-flight suitors.

Farke could turn to a 3-4-2-1, pairing Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach in midfield. Ampadu was Player of the Season. The shape keeps the back three and makes room for two creators as dual no.10s.

Brandt and Wilson would be huge coups and, if signed, would expect to start behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Charles may initially have to settle for the bench, with a slightly bolder set-up and a front three that would strike fear into opponents.
