Sorba Thomas has been linked with a potential move to Everton this summer
Sorba Thomas has enjoyed a strong first campaign for Stoke City after joining from Huddersfield Town in the summer.
The Wales international spent last season with the French side Nantes on loan from the Terriers following their relegation from the Championship.
The forward contributed one goal and three assists from 25 appearances in Ligue 1, helping the team come 13th in the top flight table.
Huddersfield’s failure to gain promotion straight back from League One led to his permanent exit, with the Potters reportedly paying £1.5 million to sign him.
And now, according to the Daily Mail, Everton are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old following his impressive performances in Mark Robins’s side this year.
With that in mind, we use estimated figures from Capology to look at how much Thomas could earn for the Toffees if he made the move in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Everton are competing for European qualification from the Premier League this season, with David Moyes’ side enjoying a rich run of form in recent weeks.
The Toffees are only three points behind fifth-place Liverpool, which is likely to merit a Champions League place for 2026/27 due to the new coefficient rules.
The Merseyside outfit have a total weekly payroll of around £1.5 million, which is the 10th highest of the 20 teams in the top flight.
Their highest paid permanent player is currently Jordan Pickford, with the England first-choice goalkeeper earning £150,000 per week.
Other high earners include Jarrad Branthwaite, Idrissa Gueye and James Tarkowski, who all receive £120,000 per week.
However, Thomas is unlikely to go straight into the top bracket of earners should he make the move from Stoke in the summer.
Perhaps Iliman Ndiaye could be a useful comparison given he made the move to Everton from Marseille, but he only spent one disappointing year there after moving from Sheffield United.
The Senegal international is paid £45,000 per week by Everton, which is the top end of what Thomas might expect.
On the lower end, a wage similar to former Southampton star Carlos Alcaraz could be on the cards, with the Argentine earning £20,000-a-week.

Stoke’s total payroll is £368,500 per week, ranking the club 10th in the Championship, just behind West Brom and Middlesbrough.
The Potters’ highest paid player is currently Ben Gibson, with the defender receiving £35,000 per week.
Other high earners include Steven Nzonzi and Sam Gallagher, with the pair both earning £25,000 per week.
Meanwhile, Thomas signed a deal worth £20,000 per week when he joined from Huddersfield last summer.
The 26-year-old has a contract that runs until June 2028, giving Stoke plenty of leverage in any upcoming transfer talks as he still has two years to go before becoming a free agent.
While the opportunity to play in the Premier League, and potentially in European competition, will be quite enticing for Thomas, he will surely also be seeking an increase in his wages too.
