Hull City beat Norwich City 2-1 at the MKM Stadium as Oliver McBurnie's brace lifted them from seventh to sixth and into the Championship play-offs.
In the 26th minute, Mohamed Touré ran through and slotted into the bottom left after a pass from Anis Ben Slimane to put the visitors ahead.
Moments later a penalty was awarded when Ruairi McConville fouled Joe Gelhardt. McBurnie converted from the spot (28.).
After the restart, Hull struck from a set piece as Matt Crooks nodded a header across goal for McBurnie to sweep in the winner (67.). The striker now has 17 league goals, second in the Championship scoring chart.
Vladan Kovacevic made four saves to keep the Canaries in the contest, notably denying McBurnie twice from close range.
Six minutes of second half stoppage time were played after a spiky finale, but Hull's defence, led by Charlie Hughes and Lewie Coyle, saw it out.
Hull registered six shots on target from eight attempts, making their chances count. The Canaries had 65.1% possession but produced only two shots on target from 12 attempts.
The result lifts Hull from seventh to sixth, securing a play-off berth. The Canaries finish ninth.
