Chelsea signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m, and he’s been one of the only success stories at Stamford Bridge this season.
The Brazil international has scored 20 goals in all competitions, with 15 of those coming in the Premier League and is surely a shoe in to be Chelsea’s player of the season.
Pedro has easily fought off competition from Liam Delap to make the number nine position his own, and he’s really shown his quality this season.
The Brazilian will likely play a big role at the World Cup this summer, and his form hasn’t gone unnoticed by other clubs.
It’s been reported Barcelona are interested in Pedro as they seek a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, and Romano has provided an update.
“Barcelona really like and appreciate Joao Pedro, but Chelsea consider him a crucial part of the project,” he told his YouTube channel.
“Selling him would be complicated, if something changes, I will let you know.”
Despite Barcelona’s interest, Chelsea are believed to have made their stance clear that Pedro isn’t for sale.
