Cristian Chivu oversaw another memorable comeback against Cesc Fabregas’ side earlier this week.

Indeed, less than a fortnight after a 4-3 league win at the Sinigaglia Stadium, Inter fought back from a two-goal deficit to beat Como again.

Hakan Calhanoglu emerged as the Nerazzurri hero at San Siro, netting a second-half brace to draw the home side level before setting up Petar Sucic for the winner.

As a result, Inter will face Lazio in the grand final on May13.

Inter Milan Reach 16th Coppa Italia Final

Inter’s maiden appearance in the Coppa Italia final came in 1939, with the Nerazzurri beating Novara 2-1.

Meanwhile, they last contested the Coppa Italia showpiece in 2023, beating Fiorentina 2-1, courtesy of Lautaro Martinez’s double.

Furthermore, only Juventus and Roma have featured in this fixture more often than the San Siro powerhouse.

As the record-time winners, Juventus have made 22 appearances, while Roma have appeared 17 times.

It’s also worth noting that Inter could become only the second team to win this trophy at least 10 times.
