Federico Dimarco is confirming his status as a decisive weapon for Inter Milan, ranking above some of Europe’s biggest attacking stars for chances created this season.
Under Cristian Chivu, the Nerazzurri wing-back has taken another step forward.
Dimarco now plays longer stretches of matches and rarely leaves the pitch around the hour mark, something that happened more frequently last season.
His influence has grown, and the numbers now underline that impact at continental level.
According to data published by WhoScored, Dimarco currently tops the European rankings for “big chances created,” outperforming elite names from La Liga, the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

In fifth place sits Lamine Yamal, who has created 12 major chances for Barcelona. The Spanish teenager continues to impress, but his output still trails the top of the list. Fourth place belongs to Matthieu Udol of Lens, who has provided 13 big chances so far this season.
The podium begins with Rayan Cherki, who sits third on 14 chances created, confirming his growing influence in the final third. Just ahead of him is Michael Olise, now a key creative outlet for Bayern Munich. Olise has created 15 big chances, many of them in high-profile matches.
However, the top spot belongs to Federico Dimarco. With 17 big chances created, no player in Europe has done better. The statistic highlights Dimarco’s importance not only as a wing-back, but as one of the continent’s most productive creators.
For Inter, these numbers reinforce just how central Dimarco has become to their attacking play. For the rest of Europe, they serve as a reminder that one of the game’s most effective chance creators operates from the left flank in black and blue.
