Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu is preparing significant changes to his starting line-up for the three upcoming fixtures in Serie A and Europe.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 44-year-old plans to overhaul his best XI after an unconvincing win over Sassuolo.
Despite returning to winning ways in Serie A, the Nerazzurri struggled for conviction against the top-flight newcomers.
However, with a midweek off, Cristian Chivu has enough time to fine-tune his squad’s fitness levels and integrate new ideas on the training ground.

Inter will take on Cagliari, Slavia Prague, and Cremonese before October’s international break.
With Napoli already six points ahead, there’s no margin for error in Serie A.
Furthermore, Inter can ill-afford to drop points against the likes of Cremonese and Cagliari.
Therefore, Chivu is ready to rotate his starting XI, with Lautaro Martinez set to regain his place in attack.
Indeed, El Toro should return to full fitness for Saturday’s trip to Sardinia.
As a result, he should dislodge Francesco Pio Esposito, who impressed against Sassuolo.
