Inter Milan have identified Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta as a potential summer target, with the France-born player valued at around €18-20 million after a strong debut Serie A campaign that began with a goal against the Nerazzurri themselves.
Atta scored a fine goal and produced an impressive all-round display as Udinese beat Inter 2-1 at San Siro at the start of the season.
That performance put him on the radar of several clubs, including the side he beat that day, as per L’Interista.
According to the reports, Inter view Atta as a different kind of profile from their other midfield targets.
Indeed, he averages two successful dribbles per match. At 1.89 metres tall, he combines physicality with creativity, capable of breaking static passages of play with direct running and one-versus-one ability.
Furthermore, Chivu wants dynamic, imaginative players who can inject unpredictability into Inter’s system. Atta fits that brief precisely.
Therefore, he represents a different engine, complementing rather than replicating the qualities of targets like Koné and Stankovic.
Across 29 Serie A appearances this season, Atta has contributed four goals and three assists. For a player in his first full Italian campaign, those numbers show clear promise.
Inter are watching. At €18-20 million, the price is manageable, and Udinese’s financial situation could make them willing sellers this summer.
