A rainy Monday marked Inter's return to work after the World Cup pause. The squad reported to Centro de Treinamentos Parque Gigante for gym and pitch sessions, including ball work.
According to Globo.com, the club confirmed three new appointments. Guilherme da Costa arrives from Corinthians, where he had been since 2024, to become health and performance coordinator, replacing Diego Pereira, who left last week.
He is the third addition to the staff, alongside goalkeeping coach Rogério Maia and his assistant Eduardo Melgarejo. There were also four departures, market manager Ricardo Sobrinho, goalkeeping coach Leonardo Martins, assistant Aparecido Donizete and fitness assistant João Goulart.
Alan Patrick, Mercado, Bernabei and Borré were among those present. Rochet and Félix Torres were absent as they are at the World Cup with Uruguay and Ecuador.
Meanwhile, the board are working to bolster Paulo Pezzolano's options. Inter have an agreement to sign Guillermo Maripán and are waiting for his Torino contract to expire before making it official. The club are also assessing moves for a midfielder and a forward.
Two training matches are set, against Coritiba on four July and Mirassol a week later at home. In the Brasileirão, Inter expect to return around 22 July at Beira-Rio against Cruzeiro. They sit 14th on 21 points, one ahead of 17th-placed Vasco, the first side in the relegation zone.
