Inter returned to work on a rainy Monday at CT Parque Gigante after their World Cup break, holding gym and on-pitch drills with the ball. The club announced three additions to the backroom team.
According to Globo.com, Guilherme da Costa has joined from Corinthians, where he worked since 2024, to become health and performance coordinator. He replaces Diego Pereira, who left last week.
The other arrivals are Rogério Maia as goalkeeping coach and Eduardo Melgarejo as his assistant. Departures include market manager Ricardo Sobrinho, goalkeeping coach Leonardo Martins, assistant Aparecido Donizete and fitness staffer João Goulart.
Alan Patrick, Mercado, Bernabei and Borré trained with the group. Rochet and Félix Torres were absent while on World Cup duty with Uruguay and Ecuador.
The board are working to provide Paulo Pezzolano with reinforcements. Inter have an agreement with Guillermo Maripán and plan to announce him once the Chilean’s contract with Torino ends. They are also assessing options for a midfielder and a forward.
Two training matches are set for the inter-season period, Coritiba on 4 July, then Mirassol a week later at home.
In the Brasileirão, Inter are due back around 22 July to face Cruzeiro at Beira-Rio. They sit 14th on 21 points, one ahead of Vasco in 17th, the first relegation spot.
