Guilherme da Costa has left Corinthians after almost two years, having joined in June 2024. He posted a farewell message on Monday and was announced by Internacional of Rio Grande do Sul before Corinthians confirmed his exit.
According to Meu Timao, he oversaw the men's first-team gym and transition work at Corinthians, responsibilities he will reprise at Internacional.
In his message, he thanked the club, backroom staff and players, and described a victorious two-year cycle. He reflected on professional development and noted that many work but few end up winning.
Da Costa was recruited from Coritiba on the recommendation of former Corinthians football executive Fabinho Soldado, who now works at Internacional.
His previous roles include América-MG, Atlético-MG, Red Bull Bragantino, Cruzeiro and Novorizontino.
During his spell, Corinthians won the 2025 Campeonato Paulista, the 2025 Copa do Brasil and the 2026 Supercopa do Brasil.
