There were two national team matches played yesterday with Juventus players in their squads: Teun Koopmeiners' Netherlands versus Malta, and Vasilije Adzic's Montenegro versus the Faroe Islands.

Teun Koopmeiners remained on the bench for the Netherlands' 4-0 victory in Malta, having been left out of the match by Dutch coach Ronald Koeman. Vasilije Adzic, however, started his match, with the Juventus midfielder playing for 66 minutes before being substituted in his team's defeat to the Faroe Islands.
