Jamal Musiala has had a minor, planned operation after returning to Munich following Germany’s World Cup exit.

Bayern Munich confirmed on Monday that the attacking midfielder had the surgery.

It forms part of standard medical follow-up to the serious injury he sustained at the Club World Cup a year ago.

The intervention is intended to underpin a clearly structured pre-season programme.

It should help him complete preparations and be fully fit for the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
