Gunners concede for the first time this season but Jamie Carragher remains impressed

Jamie Carragher has said the “worry” for the rest of the Premier League is Arsenal do not look like conceding.

After starting the season with back-to-back wins over Coventry and Aston Villa, Arsenal’s defenced was breached for the first time in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Chelsea.

However, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard scored either side of the break to complete the comeback, sealing victory for the Premier League champions.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Carragher was impressed with how Arsenal limited Chelsea to very little in terms of chances and believes their defensive strength even in the absence of William Saliba is an ominous sign.

He said: "I think the worrying thing for everybody else already is that Saliba, - who is genuinely world-class arguably probably the best centre-back in world football – has not played a minute of football so far this season.

"And it doesn’t look like anyone can score against them.

“Raya made a great save from Estevao at the end but that would have been a great goal but didn’t really open them up and that’s without their best defender.
