The tribute match for Jaume Domènech has been pushed back by a week because of minor health issues for the honouree.
According to Superdeporte, the fixture will now take place on 20 June 2026 at 19:00 at the Campo Municipal Pascual Bernat de Catadau, having been moved from 13 June.
Domènech announced his retirement on 8 September 2025, a decade after making his first-team debut for Valencia at El Molinón. He is the 11th goalkeeper in the club’s history by official appearances, with 122, and played a key part in the 2019 Copa del Rey win and the 2022 runner-up finish.
Under the banner "Les llegendes tornen", the homage will see him pull the gloves back on for the first time since stepping away from elite football. He will keep goal for Leyendas del Valencia CF, in a side coordinated by the Asociación de Futbolistas del Valencia CF.
They will face the Selección de veteranos de la Mancomunitat in a meeting designed to celebrate the history, values and legacy of Valencian football. The event will offer fans the chance to see well-known figures associated with Valencia CF in a festive, family atmosphere.
