Jhon Arias and two former Palmeiras players named in Colombia World Cup squad | OneFootball

Colombia coach Néstor Lorenzo has named his 26-player World Cup squad, with forward Jhon Arias included. According to Nosso Palestra, the announcement came on Monday.

Defender Mina and midfielder Richard Ríos, both formerly of Palmeiras, were also selected. Colombia will face Portugal, Congo and Uzbekistan in Group K.

The World Cup will be staged in June and July across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Beyond Arias, other Palmeiras players are awaiting official lists from their national teams and could feature at the tournament.

The call-ups’ final club match before the World Cup is scheduled for Thursday 28, against Junior Barranquilla in the sixth round of the Conmebol Libertadores.
