Joel Piroe hails first Premier League season and thanks Leeds United fans | OneFootball

Joel Piroe has closed Leeds United’s campaign by celebrating his first taste of Premier League football and acknowledging the supporters.

The player said in a post that: "Premier League football has always been a dream. Thanks to your support, we had a great season at the highest level. Grateful for everyone who stood by us throughout the season."

He entered the club’s return to the top flight as the previous season’s Championship Golden Boot winner, but without a single minute of Premier League experience.

The arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin reduced his league involvement to 246 minutes, though he marked finally appearing in the division as a personal milestone.

Leeds ended with 47 points and 14th place, comfortably securing survival in their first season back.
