José Mourinho has made his call on Fede Valverde’s Real Madrid future | OneFootball

New Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has already made a decision on the immediate future of Federico Valverde with the club.

This comes amid the assurance that the Uruguayan will be going nowhere this summer.

Midfielder Valverde of course recently saw his future in the colours of Real Madrid thrown firmly up in the air. Following a serious bust-up with teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni, it was suggested that the 27-year-old could be allowed to depart Spain’s capital for the right price.

A number of clubs from across Europe were in turn alerted to a surprise potential market opportunity.

If the latest word stemming from the media late this week is anything to go by, however, then those of a Blancos persuasion eager to see Valverde stay put need not fret.

As per a report from Marca:

‘According to sources close to the situation, Fede is a sure thing for José Mourinho. His present and future at Real Madrid has never been seriously in doubt.’
