A vivid mural of Jude Bellingham has appeared on a disused building on the A454 at Lower Horsley Fields in Wolverhampton, created yesterday afternoon by local artist Lucy Danielle. It shows Stourbridge’s Jude Bellingham in an England shirt striking a victory pose.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 35-year-old used spray paint and emulsion to brighten the area and salute one of England’s leading players.

She sought permission from the building’s owners before starting, and said passers-by stopped to watch and were enthusiastic. She reported only positive feedback.

Danielle said the piece took around seven or eight hours to complete and described Bellingham as a Black Country-born hero, adding that motorists honked and cheered as they drove past.

The heat made paint behaviour hard to judge and a passer-by handed her water as she worked. After around 21 years of spray-painting, she is now considering her next project, which she suggested could depend on how England does at the World Cup.
