Al-Hilal face a pivotal call on Yassine Bounou, with Juventus interest and registration plans putting his future in play.

Al Jazeera reports that Juventus want to sign the Morocco goalkeeper for around nine million euros, and that Al-Hilal are considering listing him only in continental competitions after regaining Mohammed Al-Owais.

Bounou opposes being used solely in continental action, which makes a summer exit possible despite a contract to summer 2028.

The fee is not eye-catching, but attached to a 35-year-old goalkeeper it carries a different weight. It speaks to how a club of Juventus' stature might view him now, rather than resale potential.

His Transfermarkt valuation has fallen since his 2023 move to Al-Hilal, from 12 million euros to nine million by mid-2024, then seven million at year’s end, sliding to 6.5 million and 5.5 million by mid-2025.

If the reported price is correct, it would be roughly 65% above his latest valuation, a gap that is hard to ignore.

Goalkeepers often defy typical market curves, with experience enhancing value, as shown by Gianluigi Buffon, Manuel Neuer and Iker Casillas. Any bid for Bounou would signal faith in immediate impact.

Juventus, if they do proceed, would be seeking a ready-made technical guarantee, not a long-term flip, backed by Bounou’s World Cup pedigree, Sevilla successes, honours and big-game record that raw metrics can struggle to quantify.
