Arsenal’s Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard were with the squad on the pre-match walk today.
The Gunners host Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie tonight.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed yesterday that Odegaard and Havertz are part of the squad to face the La Liga club.
The German missed the first leg in Spain last Wednesday after he was withdrawn against Newcastle United due to a knock.
He was not available for selection in the Premier League game against Fulham last Saturday, but appears to be fully fit and could feature tonight.
Odegaard also missed the 3-0 win at the weekend after he was forced off in Spain last week due to knee discomfort.
The Arsenal captain is now back and will hope to be selected in the starting XI this evening as the club bids to reach their first Champions League final since 2006.
Only Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino are unavailable due to injuries, and the Gunners will fancy their chances against Atletico after receiving timely boosts.
Havertz, Odegaard and Bukayo Saka have not started a game together since December 2024.
Arsenal have missed the creative combination the trio bring to games anytime they play together, and having them on the pitch against Atletico could be huge.
The first leg in Spain ended 1-1, and both teams will fancy their chances of booking a spot in the final of the elite European competition.
