Kaick’s MLS rise continues with consecutive goals and regular starts for FC Dallas

Sold by Grêmio at the start of 2025, Kaick is enjoying his best MLS season, starting 21 times for FC Dallas and scoring in each of his last two games.
He struck in the 4-3 win over Sporting Kansas City last Saturday. On Wednesday he opened the scoring against Minnesota in a 3-1 victory that lifted Dallas to 40 points, fourth in the Western Conference, level with Los Angeles FC and inside the play-off places.
According to Globo.com, the 20-year-old moved in February 2025 for US$ 4 million, signing through December 2028, with Grêmio retaining 20% of any future sale. He has started four of Dallas’s last five matches and came on during the first half of the 5-0 defeat to Western Conference leaders Vancouver Whitecaps.
This year he has three goals and two assists for Dallas. Last season he featured 31 times, including 25 starts.
He shares a dressing room with Ramiro, a Grêmio winner of the 2026 Copa do Brasil and the 2017 Libertadores. Dallas host Portland Timbers on Saturday, whose forward Alexander Aravena is on loan from Grêmio, although the Chilean is not a regular starter.
Kaick made one senior appearance for Grêmio, against Ypiranga in the Campeonato Gaúcho, when coach Gustavo Quinteros selected a reserve side. The Rio de Janeiro native had just played the Copinha and was promoted to the first-team group shortly before his sale.
