Kane show and Goretzka farewell: Bayern in the individual critique | OneFootball

FC Bayern wins 5-1 against 1. FC Köln on matchday 34. The Bayern stars in the FCBinside individual review.

Manuel Neuer: Had nothing to hold on to in the first half. He had no chance when conceding the goal. Was substituted after an hour – probably with an injury. Grade: 3

Konrad Laimer: Played flawlessly defensively, but didn’t really make an impact offensively. Was taken off at the break. Mark: 3

Dayot Upamecano: Couldn’t get behind El Mala for Cologne’s goal, but otherwise played a solid game. Mark: 3

Jonathan Tah: Blocked three times in one scene in his own penalty area. In the second half, he also threw himself into a Cologne shot on goal and deflected the ball over the goal. Also otherwise strong in duels and calm on the ball. Mark: 2

Tom Bischof: Started at left-back. Bischof scored a remarkable goal to make it 3-1 for Bayern after an assist from Karl. Always made things happen on his side. Good game! Grade: 2

Joshua Kimmich : He got his head on the ball before Kane made it 1-0 from Karl’s cross and secured the assist. When the Englishman made it 2-0, Kimmich laid the ball off to Kane from an indirect free-kick. Two assists and a good performance from Kimmich in other respects as well. Grade: 2

Leon Goretzka: Was given an official send-off by the officials before the game and cheered by the fans. Played an unremarkable game for a long time without making any mistakes. Then secured the assist for Kane’s long-range shot to make it 4:1. Grade: 3

Lennart Karl: Made his first appearance in the starting eleven after tearing a muscle fibre. Set up Kane’s 1:0 with a beautiful cross – Kimmich had already headed it in. Karl’s assist for Bischof’s 3:1 was also superb. Grade: 2

Jamal Musiala: Lost the ball before Cologne made it 2-1. Only hit the post after a nice assist from Kane. A dangerous shot from Musiala was deflected and went wide of the goal. Musiala was more dangerous overall than in his last few appearances, but still didn’t get anything countable on paper. Grade: 3

Luis Diaz: Was very active. Missed a good chance when he curled the ball towards goal, but Schwäbe in the Cologne goal was able to keep it out. Wasted time alone in front of goal in the second half – but was offside anyway. Diaz also set up Jackson’s goal at the end to make it 5-1. Goal: 3

Harry Kane: Scored with a technically strong direct shot to make it 1-0. 2-0 was also scored by the goalscorer: Kane sank an indirect free-kick into the bottom left corner after a pass from Kimmich. Kane then completed the treble with a fine shot from outside the penalty area. Very good! Grade: 1

Substitute

Josip Stanisic (46th for Laimer): Was flawless defensively and unremarkable offensively. grade: 3

Jonas Urbig (60th for Neuer): Had nothing to hold on to after his substitution. 3

Michael Olise (60 for Karl): Set up Jackson’s 5-1 with his pass. Shot over in stoppage time alone in front of goal. Mark: 3

Raphael Guerreiro (70th for Musiala): Gave his farewell performance at the Allianz Arena. Was fairly unremarkable. Grade: 3

Nicolas Jackson (82 for Goretzka): Scored immediately after coming on as a substitute in his last home game as a Bayern player. Grade: 2
