Kevin Carlos is set to join Cagliari on loan with an option to buy. Nice have sought his departure for weeks.

Nice-Matin reports that the Spanish striker will move after weeks of hesitation and refusals to head to Türkiye.

The 25-year-old, signed from Basel for €6m last year, will head to Italy on a no-fee loan with a €3.5m purchase option. The agreement also includes a 10% sell-on clause.

He is due to undergo a medical on Saturday.

After rejecting several exit routes, including a €3m permanent switch to Samsunspor, he was excluded from training and pre-season matches.
