Kieran McKenna steps down as Ipswich boss | OneFootball

Ipswich have confirmed that Kieran McKenna will step down as coach after leading them back to the Premier League.

McKenna was heavily linked with Fulham and Crystal Palace this summer having seen the Tractor Boys return to the top flight.

But in a shock announcement on Wednesday, the former Manchester United assistant has confirmed he won't lead the Suffolk club in the Premier League next term.

Instead McKenna will spend more time with his family and away from the game before deciding on his new job.

McKenna has spent five seasons at Ipswich, achieving two promotions in that time.
