Jurgen Klopp criticised the decision to disallow Jonathan Tah’s extra-time goal as Germany exited the World Cup after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Paraguay.

Tah thought he had headed Germany in front, only for the goal to be disallowed for a challenge on Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gill by Waldemar Anton.

AAnd after playing out a 1-1 draw, Germany were eliminated from the World Cup at the round of 32 stage.

“If the goal is illegal, then Arsenal won’t be English champions,” Klopp claimed, speaking to MagentaTV. “They’ve scored 60% of their goals that way.

“We [Germany] win the game when the ball goes in. So, of course, this is brutal.”
