Köln ‘end’ talks with Dortmund after El Mala offer | OneFootball

According to Geissblog, Köln have ended negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over Said El Mala.

It was reported yesterday that Dortmund offered €26 million plus €16 million in add-ons, which Köln rejected. The Bundesliga club are holding out for €50 million.

Köln’s hierarchy are also said to be unhappy with Dortmund’s conduct, particularly alleged attempts to influence the winger after the initial bid.

Meanwhile, Express reports rumblings that El Mala will be under contract with BVB within a few weeks.

Any restart of talks would first require relations between the clubs to ease.
